Description

The shady-skin is a new skin for Klaus Schmidingers VDR and Stefan Brauns vdr-plugin-skindesigner.
The skins are designed to work with:
  • softdecoders like softhddevice, vdr-xine and xineliboutput (all preferred with vdpau)
  • TT S2-6400
    • .




Requirements

  • Linux :)
  • VDR
  • vdr-plugin-skindesigner
  • Font: Open Sans (very important! with most other fonts many texts will not fit into the areas)
  • A set of channellogos eg skindesigner-logos
    • .




Install shady

  • shady via Git: shady-git
    First checkout:
    cd /usr/share/vdr/plugins/skindesigner/skins
    git clone https://github.com/tomsax56/shady
    find shady -name *.theme -exec mv {} "/var/lib/vdr/themes" \ ;
    To update shady via git run:
    cd /usr/share/vdr/plugins/skindesigner/skins/shady
    git pull


Install shady_KISS

  • shady_KISS via Git: shady_KISS-git
    cd /usr/share/vdr/plugins/skindesigner/skins
    git clone https://github.com/tomsax56/shady_KISS
    find shady_KISS -name *.theme -exec mv {} "/var/lib/vdr/themes" \ ;
    To update shady_KISS via git run:
    cd /usr/share/vdr/plugins/skindesigner/skins/shady_KISS
    git pull
